Job description

Operating Room Assistant

The Operating Room Assistant supports the Surgery Department with a wide array of duties, to include operating room turnover/cleaning, stocking supplies; supports patient care needs while functioning under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Must be energetic, driven, and self-motivated; able to make quick decisions and change directions based on department needs; efficiently manages time, pressures, and deadlines in a positive fashion; able to respond appropriately to constructive feedback.

Education Required: Certified Nursing Assistant preferred (can obtain on the job).

Related Years of Experience Required: Experience in a health care field preferred.

Credential/Licensure Required: CPR certification required.

Shift: Working 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday.
