Job description

A leading international law firm in Los Angeles is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney to join their dynamic legal defense team.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney, with defense litigation background, interested in expanding their experience into the field of insurance. (Hybrid to start)
Qualifications
  • JD from an accredited Law School
  • Admitted to practice and experience in the state of California
  • 3+ years of insurance coverage and defense litigation experience
  • Experience in writing opinions with respect to CGL policies with a preference for construction defect and habitability matters
  • Experience preparing pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
  • Superior written and analytical skills required
  • Legal project management experience is helpful
  • Vaccination is not mandated but encouraged

Responsibilities
  • Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
  • Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
  • Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
  • Communicate with clients and provide status reports
