Little Stepping Stones is a licensed childcare center seeking a Lead Teacherย to support the following age groups:ย 
  • Two's/Three's
To beย QUALIFIED for the Lead Teacher opportunity, we require a high school diploma and the ability to pass all background checks. We also require an associate or a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, psychology, or a related field.ย  A plus if you have previous childcare experience and experience working with two's or preschool!

Required Shift:ย Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm

Compensation: $17-$19 per hour,ย based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities for Lead Preschool Teachers:ย ย 
  • Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.ย 
  • Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carryย out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Useย our parent communication appย efficiently.ย 
  • Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.ย 
  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; andย maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.ย 
  • Maintainย a child assessment and portfolioย for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.ย 
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,ย walking,ย running,ย and climbing stairs.ย 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.ย 
  • Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.ย
