Job description

Make a meaningful impact each day supporting K-12 students as a dedicated Paraprofessional in a contract role available near Elk Grove, CA. Step into a dynamic school environment, working either in a 1:1 setting or as classroom support, to help students with varying learning needs achieve their academic, social, and behavioral goals.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and unwavering support for students with diverse disabilities and learning styles
  • Excellent oral and written communication for collaboration with teachers, specialists, families, and administrators
  • Ability to implement behavior support plans and positive intervention strategies, always aligning with established guidelines
  • Experience providing instructional assistance and adapting lessons under the supervision of certified staff
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing student needs and classroom dynamics
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct
  • Strong organizational skills for accurate recordkeeping, data collection, and progress monitoring
  • Capable of following individualized education programs (IEPs) and contributing to student success

Primary Responsibilities:
- Offer attentive academic and behavioral support to students in both 1:1 and classroom settings
- Assist in lesson reinforcement, adapting materials, and facilitating student participation
- Implement behavior intervention plans, supporting students’ emotional and social development
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress monitoring as directed
- Collaborate closely with educators and related service providers to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Safeguard confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of the position

With a consistent schedule of 30 hours per week, five days per week. Earn $22.00 per hour while enjoying weekly pay, comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance, a matching 401(k), Flexible Spending Accounts, and access to an Employee Assistance Program.
