  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 for Elementary
  • Must be at least 23 for Middle School and High School
Pay rates:
  • Substitute Teacher (HS Diploma/Equivalent): $88/day
  • Substitute Teacher (Associates): $98/day
  • Substitute Teacher (Bachelors/Masters/ED. Specialist/Doctorate): $108/day
  • Substitute Paraprofessional (HS Diploma/Equivalent or Associates): $9.25/hour
  • Substitute Paraprofessional (Associates): $10.50/hour
  • Substitute Paraprofessional (Bachelors/Masters/ED. Specialist/Doctorate): $11.75/hour

  • Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
  • Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
Teacher Responsibilities
