CWC is looking for a motivated and dependable Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our growing team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, take pride in accuracy, and are looking for a company that values hard work and promotes growth, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their products accurately and on time. This position offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team, operate warehouse equipment, and contribute directly to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Unload, identify, sort, and store wire and cable inventory, including coils and reels.
  • Pick, pack, palletize, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Stage shipments for LTL, flatbed, and truckload carriers.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory movements.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Rotate inventory and consolidate stock to maximize warehouse efficiency.
  • Ensure shipments meet customer specifications and carrier requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies, attendance standards, and operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily performance goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, shipping and receiving, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification if required.
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
