Job Summary:

The Sales Representatives will spend the work day on the telephone and computer. The ideal candidate will be a people-person, energetic, and professional. He/She will respond to internet and telephone customer inquiries, and make outbound phone calls, emails and text messages.  Generating appointments from our customer database is a main component of this position.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:

  • Promptly respond to internet inquiries with courtesy, accuracy and professionalism.
  • Use our phone system to market to existing customers and prospects.
  • Promptly and accurately enter all customer inquiry data into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Generate sales appointments.
  • Full vehicle presentation. 
  • Working negotiation.
  • Getting customer ready for the finance manager.
  • Full delivery of the vehicle. 
  • Effectively utilize lead management tools.
  • Exhibit ethical behavior and provide the highest degree of customer satisfaction, and be honest in all aspects of dealing with customers.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of retail sales experience required
  • Previous Internet Sales position at an automotive dealership preferred
  • Experience in taking incoming sales phone calls, as well as making outbound marketing calls.
  • Experience utilizing Inventory and/or CRM systems
  • Confident and professional phone manner
  • Flexible schedule to include evenings and/or weekends. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to read and comprehend rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

  • Color Vision: Ability to identify and distinguish colors 
  • Field of Vision: Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point
