Job description

Pizza King is searching for hard-working, dependable Truck Drivers to join our Commissary Team. Truck Drivers are responsible for delivering our food products, using a company owned and maintained box truck, from the Commissary location to our restaurant locations in a quick and efficient manner.

Truck Driver Requirements:
  • Class E Endorsement (For Hire) or Chauffeur's License
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record

Truck Driver Schedule:
  • Monday through Saturday.
  • Departure from Commissary location between 10am and 2pm.
  • Time and a half pay for hours worked over 40 per week.
  • Deliver 9 - 12 deliveries per day
  • After all deliveries have been made, Truck Drivers must return to the Commissary to drop off the truck and paperwork.
  • Schedule allows the Truck Drivers to have the opportunity to be home every night.

Truck Driver Responsibilities:
Individual:
  • Ensure the company provided truck is safe, tidy, and well-organized.
  • Abide by traffic laws and represent the company appropriately when on the road.
  • Follow a set delivery route each day.
  • Follow an order list for each delivery and carting the items into the restaurant location to their designated storage areas.
  • Fill out proper paperwork for each route.

Other:
  • Report truck issues, accidents, and order issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Complete all assigned deliveries, reports, and checklists.
  • Perform any other assignments or tasks assigned by your manager or supervisor

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time
