These roles typically involve operating vehicles such as straight trucks, large buses, dump trucks, or delivery trucks that have a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more, but do not require towing vehicles over 10,000 pounds. Common Class B jobs include school bus drivers, city transit drivers, dump truck operators, and delivery truck drivers.
