These roles typically involve operating vehicles such as straight trucks, large buses, dump trucks, or delivery trucks that have a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more, but do not require towing vehicles over 10,000 pounds. Common Class B jobs include school bus drivers, city transit drivers, dump truck operators, and delivery truck drivers. These positions are essential for transporting goods and passengers safely and efficiently within cities and regions.

These competencies are crucial to ensure the safe, timely, and compliant transportation of goods or passengers.
