Class B Fuel Transport DriverPosition Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class B Fuel Transport Driver to transport and deliver petroleum products to commercial, agricultural, and retail customers. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent customer service skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely transport and deliver fuel products to customer locations in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Load, unload, and transfer petroleum products using approved procedures and equipment.
  • Accurately complete delivery tickets, bills of lading, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report mechanical issues, accidents, or safety concerns.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
  • Ensure proper handling and securement of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area.
  • Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and regulatory compliance activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Current Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements or X endorsement.
  • Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous materials transportation requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous fuel, petroleum, or liquid bulk transportation experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to climb ladders, access tanker compartments, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
