The campus also includes a 45,000 square foot Medical Plaza housing the Clark Clinic, Diagnostic Center for Women, Center for Rehabilitation, Specialty Clinic and Anticoagulation Clinic.

Job Summary:

The Registrar is responsible for accurately registering patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring all demographic and insurance information is collected and verified while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register patients promptly and accurately in the Emergency Department 
  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information 
  • Obtain necessary signatures and documentation for treatment and billing 
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families during stressful situations 
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations 
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow 
  • Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Previous registration, clerical, or healthcare experience preferred 
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry systems

Additional Information:

This position is for ER Registrar Registration and is scheduled Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
