Manager, Talent Acquisition

To help us continue our mission to advance industrialized construction innovations and products for a safer, more sustainable, and predictable building environment, we are seeking a high performing Manager, Talent Acquisition to join our team.

This is a full-time onsite role at Clark Pacific corporate headquarters located in West Sacramento, California.

Role Snapshot

The Manager, Talent Acquisition leads a team of recruiters to plan, forecast, and execute Clark Pacific’s strategy to attract and hire top talent. This role partners closely with senior leaders and hiring managers to build a proactive, data-driven talent acquisition strategy that delivers on current and future workforce needs.

This leader oversees full-cycle recruiting, employer branding, and recruiting operations while ensuring an equitable, compliant recruiting process that delivers an optimal candidate experience.

This leadership role will support recruiting strategy and operations for Clark Pacific’s Engineering and non-manufacturing Corporate Business Functions.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership

  • Hire, lead, coach, and develop a collaborative and high performing talent acquisition team.
  • Set clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans for direct reports.
  • Promote best practices in candidate experience and hiring manager engagement.

Talent Acquisition Strategy

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with organizational priorities and workforce planning for assigned business units and departments.
  • Analyze labor market trends and recruitment metrics to inform sourcing strategies and improve hiring outcomes.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on talent availability, hiring risks, and pipeline development.

Recruitment & Selection

  • Oversee full‑cycle recruitment for exempt and non‑exempt roles, including executive and hard‑to‑fill positions; may own recruiting for senior-level and niche roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define recruitment plans, job requirements, interview processes, and selection criteria.
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant hiring practices.

Employer Branding & Sourcing

  • Strengthen employer brand through effective job postings, career site content, and recruitment marketing.
  • Build and maintain diverse candidate pipelines using sourcing tools, networking, referrals, and community partnerships.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 10 years full-cycle recruiting experience and 5 years of team leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required.
  • Experience leading Talent Acquisition function within an Engineering, Manufacturing, or Construction industry preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to effectively listen and engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Successful track record of mentoring and coaching Talent Acquisition professionals; highly effective team leadership.
  • Strategic thinking and data‑driven decision making.
  • Ability to build strong relationships; engages and motivates teams representing diverse backgrounds and viewpoints; exceptionally collaborative.
  • Excellent organization skills to drive topics with multiple stakeholders/interests.
  • Process improvement, change management and problem solving expertise.
  • Able to exercise appropriate discretion when handling confidential and/or sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Working knowledge of Federal, State, and County applicant, and pre-employment hiring laws and regulations.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $125,000 - $160,000 USD. Base pay will be determined based on an individual’s qualifications, experience, location and other job-related factors. Base pay is one component of Clark Pacific’s Total Rewards program, which is intended to compensate and recognize team members for their contributions to our success.
