Express Employment Baltimore is looking for an experienced Clamp Truck Operator in the East Baltimore area. The Clamp Truck Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a clamp truck forklift to load, unload, move, and stage products from rail cars, trailers, warehouses, and storage areas. The operator ensures products are handled without damage while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a clamp truck forklift to load and unload rail cars, trucks, and storage areas.
  • Inspect rail cars before loading and unloading to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Secure and position products according to loading specifications and company procedures.
  • Transport materials between warehouse, production, and shipping areas.
  • Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
  • Verify product counts, shipment paperwork, and inventory records.
  • Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
  • Follow rail car loading patterns and weight distribution requirements.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Comply with all OSHA, company, and railroad safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory counts and warehouse operations as needed.
  • Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately.
Qualifications Required
