Reports to: EHS Manager

Cooperates with: Operations, Human Resources, Tech Services, Purchasing, Third-Party Suppliers

Primary Responsibility: The EHS Coordinator II is a salaried position in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They will ensure a safe work environment by drafting, implementing, and maintaining safety programs, conducting safety inspections, and providing employee safety training in the company's warehouse, outdoor installation and services. Also responsible for serving as the liaison for third-party supplier EHS risk management operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and US federal/state regulations within warehouse, outdoor installations and services.
  • Serving as the liaison for third-party supplier EHS risk management operations.
  • Adhere to rules and intervene in unsafe activities.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and observation reports.
  • Maintain accurate health and safety documentation.
  • Implement new safety protocols and compliance schedules.
  • Train Managers, Supervisors, and employees on safety standards and machinery operation.
  • Monitor and address any safety concerns related to equipment.
  • Draft EHS Policies and Procedures at the request of the EHS Manager and perform audits of these procedures.
  • Act as the system expert and admin of the EHSQ software system.
  • Maintain inventory of PPE, safety supplies, parts, safety, and equipment.
  • Organize and conduct OSHA training and other educational seminars.
  • Oversee onboarding and ongoing safety training.
  • Investigate accidents, support workers' compensation claims, and implement corrective actions.

How to Qualify:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a manufacturing and/or construction environment and direct EHS experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and local safety regulations.
  • Technical writing experience.
  • Familiarity with workplace tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to teach safety standards and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in computer literacy and industry technology.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
