Job description

Claims Representative

Essential Functions

  • Participate in training and continuing education courses as requested or required; gaining knowledge, skills, and ability to perform functions of a Claims Representative.
  • Learn to communicate with customers and other claims personnel regarding procedures, problems, and coverages.
  • Investigate, evaluate, validate, negotiate, and settle all claims as assigned.
  • Analyze claim situations for coverage by contract.
  • Continually gain working knowledge of policy coverages.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors or better.
