Job description

The Claims Managers overall responsibility is to deliver the highest customer service to our customers and manage all customer claims and assist with sales calls, when necessary.

In this position, you will ensure the franchise is consistently operating in compliance with the franchise agreement, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system standards, and applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • · Promote and protect the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand
  • · Work on a weekend rotation
  • · Handle all customer concerns and oversee the damage resolution process
  • · Maintain constant communication with customers throughout the process and vendors repairing damages· Oversee vendor agreements and contract negotiations to ensure strong working relationships and cost reductions where necessary
  • · Contact all customer complaints within 24 hours
  • · Follow / promote the franchise’s safety policies and/or procedures to prevent accidents and damages
  • · Organize and file job sheets
  • · Provide outstanding customer service on all calls and online inquiries
  • · Recommend moving services and products based on cost, availability, and customer specifications
  • · Drive communication upward through daily, weekly, and monthly reports of all functional areas for franchisees to review
  • · Must be able to calmly and professionally handle difficult situations while provided next steps and solutions to address concerns in a timely manner
  • · Occasionally attends after hour work functions and participates in charity events
  • · Responsible for being an “on-call” emergency contact for movers, drivers and operations management outside of normal business hours.
  • · Participates in regular training and development programs offered locally or through STICK MEN UNIVERSITY® online; may occasionally attend in-person training to further develop personal and professional skill sets
  • · All other duties assigned by the General and Operations Managers

Requirements

  • · A minimum of 3 years of business, management, or other relevant experience is required; TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® or moving industry experience is preferred
  • · Excellent oral and written communication and comprehension skills
  • · Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • · Demonstrated ability to lead by example to motivate, develop, and direct people
  • · Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and franchise to make improvements or take corrective action
  • · Strong decision-making ability
  • · Understanding of and commitment to customer service and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® core values
  • · Valid driver's license and clean driving record; must be able to be insured under the current franchise auto insurance plan
  • · Must be proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, Outlook
  • · Stamina to lift and carry heavy items (75 lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing stairs, balancing, walking, etc.
  • · Dispatch of move crews and possibly be required to go on a move.
