Department: Shipping
Reports To: Freight Analyst Supervisor
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Summary: Manage freight invoices and carrier communications by performing the following duties:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Audit and process all received freight invoices and resolve discrepancies when they arise.
  • Monitor accuracy of freight charges to Mannington customers and request debits/credits when required.
  • Develop and maintain a great working relationship with transportation vendors including on/off site meetings, phone, and email.
  • Develop and maintain a great working relationship with Customer Service.
  • Willingness to become an expert in Mannington shipping and freight billing processes. This willingness includes providing leadership, training and/or assisting other associates in any department to provide the best customer experience.
  • Update and provide tracking information to Customer Service and other necessary parties.
  • Filing claims with carriers for lost or damaged shipments and maintaining record for all claims filed.
  • Limited travel may be required.

Education and/or Experience:
Associates degree preferred with 3 to 5 years of relevant office experience.


Language Skills:

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate material requirements in either feet or yards.
