DescriptionJOB PURPOSEResponsible for managing supplier-facing quality activities, claim analysis, and reporting across the MPA network with a focus on MHQ and support for MAL and affiliates. Ensures improvement in claim acceptance rate, reduction in claim aging, and timely closure of nMGN quality announcements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Supplier Communication & Claim Ownership:
Primary contact for MHQ
Korean communication
Claim validation and follow-up on urgent cases
Distribute Quarterly Scorecards to Key Suppliers (MHQ, MAL, and affiliates) to assess supplier claim performance (Submission Rate, Approval Rate, On-Time Completion Rate) & Packaging Improvement Request (PIR) supplier approval rate - Quality Announcements & nMGN:
- Manage nMGN announcements
Ensure timely closure
Support ARCR documentation - Claim Analysis & Improvement:
Analyze trends
Reduce claim aging
Improve acceptance rate
Drive improvements in wrong parts and packaging - Review and submit the Quality announcement claims
- Tracking and reporting E Freez Flag monthly
- Reporting & Data:
Maintain OS&D and claim reports
Ensure data accuracy across systems - Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work with the Specialist (Specialist, Parts Quality II) and Sr Analyst Quality & Claims (Sr. Analyst, Quality & Claims), as well as the Part Help Desk team in communicating the urgent cases with Dealers - Backup Coverage:
Cover Specialist, Parts Quality II & Sr. Analyst, Quality & Claims when needed
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS - Achieve Supplier Claims Line/$ Acceptance % target each year
- Claim aging reduction
nMGN /Amos closure timing - Achieve Total PDC Pending OS&D $Monitor SCM monthly waterfall chart cost reduction activities
Senior Management level reporting - Reporting accuracy
WORK SCHEDULE/TRAVEL - 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Minimal Travel (Less than 5% a year)
Required QualificationsREQUIREMENTS - Bachelor of Business Administration or related field
- Or 2-4 years of professional experience within automotive, quality, or supply chain manufacturing.
- Bilingual Korean required
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred
SKILLS - Microsoft Office (Advanced in working with PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Visio) and SQL preferred
- Expert in using Microsoft Power BI is a plus
- Strong attention to details
- Strong in communication, reading, and writing in both languages, English and Korean
Employment Type - Non-Exempt
Compensation - Hourly Wage , $41.33 - 45.67
