Description

We are seeking a Building Enveloper Director to lead technical operations, project delivery, and team development across roofing, waterproofing, façade, and exterior cladding projects. This role provides expert oversight on investigations, forensic evaluations, repair design, and construction-phase services.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for regional business operations
  • Lead building envelope investigations, evaluations, and failure analyses
  • Oversee technical reports, repair and renovation designs, and forensic findings
  • Manage project scope, schedules, deliverables, and client relationships
  • Support complex litigation matters, expert testimony preparation, and advanced diagnostics
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and leadership to engineering and technical staff
  • Drive operational improvements and ensure consistency in quality and processes
  • Perform site observations, field testing, and construction-phase verification

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Architecture Design, Engineering or related field (required)
  • 8-10+ years in building envelope consulting, roofing/waterproofing, façade systems, or forensic engineering
  • Experience with repair design, building envelope assessments, and failure investigations
  • Strong communication skills, technical judgment, and leadership abilities
  • Relevant credentials (RRC, RWC, BECxP, thermography) are a plus
