CK Supply is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support general ledger activity, cash management, and month-end close across multiple subsidiaries. The Staff Accountant role plays a key part in core accounting operations, including ownership of assigned areas within the general ledger and the month-end close process. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting, is highly organized, and can work independently while collaborating across departments. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and maintain assigned subsidiaries' general ledger in accordance with GAAP, including journal entries, account analysis, and monthly reconciliations.
• Manage fixed assets, including CIP, depreciation, and related schedules.
• Oversee cash activity, including daily deposits, weekly ACH processing, check runs, positive pay uploads, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations; investigate variances and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and support sales/use tax, property tax, and other regulatory filings.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls.
• Support audits and special projects as needed.
• Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; Finance degree considered with demonstrated experience in general ledger and month-end close
• 3–7 years of relevant accounting experience with a strong understanding of accrual accounting and general ledger processes
• Experience participating in or owning portions of the close process
• Strong Excel skills required; ERP experience required (NetSuite preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
