Make an Impact

As a Civil Engineer I, you will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver infrastructure projects that positively impact our communities. You will contribute to the development of site, utility, roadway, grading, traffic, and right-of-way designs while expanding your technical expertise and project experience. This role offers the opportunity to build your engineering career by working on a variety of public and private projects from concept through construction.

Deliver Results
  • Develop preliminary concepts and design deliverables including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and permit documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Produce accurate site plans, utility plans and profiles, roadway designs, grading plans, traffic signal plans, and right-of-way documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to support multiple projects while delivering high-quality work that aligns with project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Review engineering documents for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards, applicable codes, and permitting requirements before submission.
  • Support field investigations, project meetings, and site inspections while learning to identify issues and develop practical engineering solutions.
  • Perform engineering calculations for drainage, grading, foundations, and civil infrastructure while assisting with multidisciplinary coordination through CAD and BIM models.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by participating in project meetings, sharing lessons learned, and continuously developing your technical and professional skills.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-graduation professional engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and standard engineering software.
  • Working knowledge of design platforms such as Revit, HEC-RAS, EPANET, or MicroStation.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles, permitting processes, and applicable codes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing municipal, commercial, or private development projects.
  • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
  • Knowledge of roadway, utility, stormwater, and site development design.
  • Experience supporting field observations, construction administration, or permitting activities.
