Brewster Early Head Start

OCCDA has 60+ year legacyย as an early learning program that strives to make a difference in our community by supporting children and families. We work to promote family success and improve kindergarten readiness for children. As a staff member you will have opportunities to grow as an individual and professionally and support our philosophy of parents as the primary educator of their children.
About the position:ย To assist the teacher and cooperate in a supportive role carrying out developmentally appropriate activities. To promote the health, nutrition and education of the children and to attend to their safety and welfare. Also to assist the bus driver in providing safe and punctual transportation to and from classroom sites. Observing and monitoring behavior of children, interacting with parents and staff to promote the well being of children.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of food and safety standards
  • Valid WA State Driver's License
  • Bilingual/Spanish, preferred

Details:

  • 40hr per week for 49ย weeks per yearย 
  • Wage isย $18.28ย per hour for qualified applicant
