About the Role

Vrana Civil, Inc. is seeking a Construction Field Intern to work directly with our field crews on active civil construction projects. This is a laborerlevel internship designed for individuals who want handson experience performing physical construction work while learning industry fundamentals. Interns will support daily field operations, learn proper construction practices, and gain exposure to heavy civil work in a real jobsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform physical labor tasks including site cleanup, material handling, and ground support
  • Assist laborers, operators, foremen, and superintendent with daily field activities
  • Learn and use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Support grade checking, layout assistance, and basic measurements
  • Help prepare work areas, move materials, and maintain jobsite organization
  • Follow all safety policies and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings
  • Complete additional labor-related tasks as assigned by field supervisors

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled at an educational instructional studying a construction program
  • Strong interest in construction and willingness to perform physical field work
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions
  • Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn from experienced field personnel
  • Capable of lifting materials and working on your feet for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
