Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking, and defending depositions, and analyzing complex documents.
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
Perform legal research.
Make court appearances as necessary.
Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases.
Qualifications And Requirements
Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Washington required
At least one year of experience in litigation. Experience as a plaintiff’s attorney and/or prosecutorial or criminal defense experience preferred)
Detail oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing a high volume of time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills.
