Driven by innovation, technology, and continuous improvement, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our collaborative team in Tampa, FL. This role will lead large-scale civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, overseeing planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and field operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Job Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to project teams, promoting accountability, collaboration, and high performance
  • Lead full lifecycle management of civil site projects, including residential, municipal, commercial, and mixed-use developments for public and private clients
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and coordination to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and specifications
  • Manage subcontractor selection and performance based on qualifications, experience, and cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor project progress, KPIs, and financials, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and legal requirements
  • Manage all project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders
  • Conduct and lead project meetings to maintain communication and resolve issues
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
  • Support business development efforts and maintain relationships with clients and partners
  • Collaborate with leadership on staffing needs and resource planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferred, but not required
  • 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager - MANDATORY!
  • Proven ability to develop and execute project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and procurement strategies
  • Experience overseeing construction operations to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and schedules
  • Strong background in contractor and subcontractor selection based on qualifications, experience, and cost efficiency
  • Ability to track project performance, monitor KPIs, and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and regulatory compliance, with a strong commitment to maintaining safe job sites
  • Experience managing project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders
  • Strong communication skills with experience leading project meetings and resolving field and project challenges
  • Ability to provide clear and consistent reporting on project status, including schedules, budgets, risks, and milestones
  • Demonstrated ability to enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations
  • Experience evaluating project performance and implementing process improvements
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and promote a collaborative, high-performance work environment
