Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Professional Civil Engineer in our Pompano Beach, Florida office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site development, infrastructure design, permitting, and client relations. This role requires technical expertise, project leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects while mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage land development projects from concept to completion.
  • Design and oversee site development plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.
  • Coordinate with clients, agencies, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Oversee the permitting process and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, and specifications.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Engage in business development, including proposal preparation and client relationship management.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development.
  • EI or PE license in Florida.
  • Strong knowledge of site design, grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater modeling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience navigating permitting processes with agencies such as SFWMD, municipalities, and counties.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
