Job description

MJC Land Development is actively looking for civil project manager. We are based in West Palm Beach, FL. MJC is a family owned and operated business that self-performs clearing & grubbing, excavation, underground utilities and roadwork. We are growing and always looking to add quality people to our team. At MJC, we value our team members. MJC also offers the opportunity for advancement, and we always try to promote from within.

Requirements:

  • REQUIRED: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project managing civil work.
  • REQUIRED: Experience in project management within land development and underground industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
  • Understanding of how the work is completed in the field.
  • Ability to review and understand civil plans
  • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
  • Able to communicate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors about pricing
  • Manage construction schedule and activities
  • Preparing subcontractors contracts/work orders
  • Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
  • Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractor
  • Organized and good work ethic, team player, open to ideas and good communication skills.
  • Salary/package will be based on experience
