Position Summary:
Villanova University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in Civil and Environmental Engineering for graduate courses taught in the evening and/or undergraduate courses taught during the day. The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department offers programs leading to the B.S. and M.S. degrees and participates in the College of Engineering Ph.D. degree program.
Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. The University is an equal opportunity employer and seeks candidates who understand, respect and can contribute to the University's mission and values.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching and other duties which vary with specific courses.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Master's degree required.* The applicant must be committed to excellence in engineering education.
Preferred Qualifications:
* An earned doctorate in Civil Engineering or closely allied discipline is strongly preferred.* Previous teaching experience preferred.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:
Undergraduate courses are offered during the day; graduate courses during the evening. Graduate courses include a synchronous component.
