Teacher of Mechanical/Civil Engineering

Edison Academy Magnet School

Brief Description:

The Board of Education of Middlesex County Magnet Schools is currently accepting applications to fill the position of High School Mechanical/Civil Engineering Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Salary will be based on the salary guide in effect. This position will be located at Edison Academy Magnet School on the Middlesex College Campus in Edison, NJ. 

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold or be eligible for a valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate as a Teacher of Engineering Technology 2545

A Master's or Doctorate Degree in one of the following areas is preferred:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Materials Science and Engineering

Ten or more years of industry experience is preferred.

Salary Range:

$62,757 $97,207 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and professional credentials.
