In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that enhance the built environment and improve quality of life.

As an Engineer in our Community Development and Planning Group, you will contribute to a variety of projects, including residential and commercial site developments. Your expertise will help transform client visions into reality, creating sustainable and vibrant communities.

Your Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Infrastructure Design - Develop engineering designs for site grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
  • Master Planning - Collaborate on large-scale master planning efforts, integrating land use, transportation, and environmental considerations to create cohesive community plans.
  • Regulatory Compliance - Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning codes, environmental standards, and permitting requirements.
  • Client Interaction & Relationship Building - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Project Coordination - Work closely with architects, developers, planners, surveyors, and other professionals to coordinate project efforts and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Construction Support - Provide support during the construction phase, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and conducting site visits to ensure design intent is met.

What We Are Looking For

  • Professional Experience - 3-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development or site design.
  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensure - Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
