Job description

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer in one of the posting locations below. In this role you will be focused on the planning, design, and management of various civil engineering projects including water/wastewater/stormwater and transportation projects for local and government agencies. Posting Locations: Frisco, TX
What You'll Do:
  • Manage, support and build relationships with clients and agencies
  • Work with a variety of projects including water, sewer, streets, parks, K-12 and higher education, and renewables
  • Conduct field inspections, measurements or calculations
  • Perform condition assessments
  • Prepare and develop construction, design documents and plans
  • Manage projects and programs from inception to completion
  • Working knowledge of storm hydrology calculations

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
  • 3 - 8 years of Civil Engineering experience
  • FE or PE Certification, or expected to be obtained
  • Experience or understanding of working with state and local authorities
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D
  • Ability to work both in the office and field for construction engineering and observation
  • Management, communication, and organization skills
