Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer - Land Development
Job Location: Jacksonville, FL
Salary: $100k-130k
Requirements: 10+ years of civil engineering experience, land development (residential and commercial) experience required, Professional Engineer License (PE) in Florida required. 

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design and development of infrastructure projects including retail, commercial, and residential developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land development and a passion for creating sustainable and efficient engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee civil engineering projects including infrastructure for retail, commercial, and residential developments.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate land for development.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans and specifications using AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to coordinate project activities.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
  • Conduct hydrological analysis and design water distribution and stormwater management systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and interns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Experience in retail, commercial, and residential land development projects.
