Job description

Civil Engineering Project Manager

We are looking for a Civil Engineering Project Manager for our Naperville IL or Chicago IL office.ย ย  The position is for an entrepreneurial-minded, qualified, and knowledgeable professional who seeks a fast-paced and challenging work environment, an opportunity to grow, and a desire for autonomy.ย  Our mission is to provide clients with very high quality, pragmatic, and customer-focused service. Salary commensurate with experience.ย 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work on commercial and industrial land development civil engineering projects
  • Work with technical support staff, subcontractors and subconsultants
  • Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D
  • Site Planning, civil engineering design and preparation of land development civil engineering plans
  • Stormwater detention and sewer design utilizing various computer software programs
  • Manage permits through various agencies including municipalities, departments of transportation, sewer districts and the EPA
  • Participate in professional organizations to promote the professionalism and integrity of the company
  • Maintain key client relationships for projects assigned to
  • Participate in the training for technical and operational staff
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients both in oral and written techniques
  • Demonstrate organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and specific timelines
  • Meet established deadlines

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
  • 5 or more years in Land Development Civil Engineering
  • Experienced knowledge of Civil Engineering, specifically land development projects
