Job description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team and take a lead role in preparing engineering deliverables for site development, including grading, drainage, roadways, and paving across our facilities. This position requires someone who can contribute across multiple functions to ensure that all civil engineering documents are produced accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑focused, and capable of managing several tasks and deadlines at once.

This position will report to the Civil Engineering Manager. This position is located in our Downtown Houston office and is a Monday‑Friday in‑office position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop calculations, quantities, reports, drawings, and specifications for the civil sitework scope of engineering of the project. Seal and sign the final civil engineering documents.
  • Collaborate with and support other disciplines, subconsultants, project controls, project management, and others.
  • Perform all functions within the civil engineering and design team as needed to produce high quality work while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 8 to 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience and knowledge with oil, gas, and chemical facilities is preferred but not required.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
Software Knowledge
  • AutoCAD.
  • Experience using a graphically to-scale integrated hydrology and hydraulics site drainage software such as EPA SWMM, PCSWMM, Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA), or InfoDrainage.
  • Autodesk Civil 3D (preferred but not required).
  • Microsoft office software.
