Job description

E-Logic is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to provide professional engineering support for the planning, design, construction, renovation, and maintenance of Government facilities and infrastructure. The selected candidate will support multidisciplinary project teams by preparing engineering designs, reviewing technical documents, and ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards and project requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional civil engineering support for the planning, design, construction, renovation, and maintenance of Government facilities and infrastructure.
  • Prepare and review civil engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
  • Support the development of engineering designs for facility and infrastructure projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to prepare and modify engineering drawings and construction documents.
  • Develop and edit project specifications using SpecsIntact.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and Government stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review engineering documents to ensure compliance with applicable project requirements, codes, and standards.
  • Provide technical recommendations and engineering support during planning, design, and construction activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • U.S. citizen with a current, active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional civil engineering experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience using:
  • AutoCAD
  • SpecsIntact
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and engineering documentation.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

Location: Primary work location is NSA Naples (Capodichino), Italy (PSC 817 Box 51, FPO, AE 09622-0051). The position requires frequent Temporary Duty (TDY) travel to NSA Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain, including NSA 1, NSA 2, NSA 3, and Isa Air Base. TDY travel may consist of up to ten (10) trips, each lasting approximately ten (10) days, during each performance period. While performing work at NSA Bahrain, employees may be required to work in austere environments due to damaged facilities and must be capable of performing physical activities such as prolonged walking, standing, climbing, crouching, and bending. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
