We're Hiring: Civil Estimator | Edmonton Area

Blackline Civil is an Alberta-based heavy civil contractor specializing in earthworks, underground utilities, industrial site development, and municipal infrastructure. We partner with developers, engineers, and municipalities to deliver high-quality projects across Western Canada.

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Estimator to join our growing Edmonton-area team. This is an opportunity to step into a key role where your expertise directly impacts project success and company growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
  • Develop accurate pricing for labour, equipment, and materials
  • Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
  • Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to support successful bids

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of civil estimating experience (senior-level candidates preferred)
