Job description

Civil Construction Project Coordinator

Location: Leesburg, VA
Job Type: Direct Hire
Starting Salary: $73,000/year - higher compensation available based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a Civil Construction Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects. This role works closely with project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and compliant with contract requirements.

What You'll Need
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Engineering
  • 2-3 years of civil engineering or construction experience, such as Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Project Coordinator, or Assistant Project Manager
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, contract administration, estimating, and blueprint reading
  • Experience coordinating subcontractor and self-performed work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Autodesk
  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely work in active construction areas, including stairs and ladders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in civil construction estimating, project coordination, or project management
  • Experience working as a civil estimator
  • Current CQC certification issued by USACE/NAVFAC
  • EIT (Engineer in Training) or AC (Associate Constructor) credential in good standing
  • Experience with IDIQ, design-build, or task-order construction projects
  • Government or federal construction contract experience
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • CQM/CQC (Construction Quality Management) certification
  • EIT, AC, or similar construction industry credential
