Job description

Job Title: General Production Worker - Level 1

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker. This role involves applying endplates, operating banding equipment, and assisting in the loading and unloading of materials. You will play a key role in maintaining our storage systems, tagging materials correctly, and ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of work areas. Participation in the company's safety program and other related duties will also be expected.

Responsibilities

  • Apply endplates by hand or machine.
  • Operate banding equipment.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials and charges.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in general labor and production.
  • Ability to handle physical labor and operate machinery.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools.

Work Environment

You will be working in both outdoor and indoor environments, which can be extremely hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. The work environment may also be smelly and dusty. Typically, you will be working alongside 2 to 3 other people. A specific dress code is required, including a hard hat, vest, glasses, gloves, and uniforms—all provided except for steel-toed boots.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.17 - $24.17/hr.
