Job description

Job Summary:
ADM is a global leader in human and animal nutrition, specializing in agricultural origination and processing. The Vice-President of Global Citrus will define a sustainable growth strategy for the Citrus flavors portfolio, aligning with cross-functional teams to meet financial targets and drive business growth in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
• Develop the Global Citrus Platform growth strategy in collaboration with cross-functional leadership and key stakeholders, to ensure holistic buy-in and right sized investment to deliver on expectations
• Define and align the strategic direction of the Citrus flavors portfolio in collaboration with leading CD+D (creation, design and development), product management and market segment leaders. Leverage prudent investments and drive category leading performance through a differentiated portfolio to achieve growth in a highly competitive market.
• Assess and guide the Citrus team on capability needs to materialize the future growth opportunities. Drive capital expansion projects and M&A necessary to buy or build critical capabilities related to our Citrus and wider flavors business.
• Drive the execution of global short and mid-term Citrus strategy (including raw material essential oil positions) and enable the cross functional team to deliver on the specific flavors targets and initiatives. Develop and align on growth and budget targets within the flavors wider strategic plan.
• Manage the regional P&L for the designated portfolio working closely with commercial go-to-market teams, operations, and supply chain to ensure alignment of product development and execution plans to meet customer expectations.
• Support Sales and Commercial teams in strategic customer relationships, elevating ADM as the partner of choice in Citrus solutions. Develop strong partner and customer networks to support growth pipeline. Actively develop strategic customer relationships, increasing customer intimacy and guiding the supporting Organization (e.g., CD&D, QA, Regulatory) to provide effective customer support and execute on winning opportunities
• Work with the Creative, Design and Development teams on product concepts / applications solutions based on identified market / customer needs and problems to solve
• Support the definition of growth initiatives to meet overall Foods business financial targets and align the organization to ensure plans are actionable
• Contribute as a key member of the global flavors leadership teams to drive accelerated business growth across NA and support the continued expansion of Citrus business in strategic markets outside of the US.
• Continuously optimize portfolio to drive profitability and sustain business long-term growth.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Food Science with 15+ years of relevant experience in Citrus/Ingredients.
• Extensive background in commercial and/or operations, or product development, scaling new products, with knowledge of citrus products & the citrus industry
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles, showcasing products and driving commercial success.
• Strong understanding of process and manufacturing considerations in the development of food and beverage solutions.
• Creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for delivering high-quality, differentiated products.
• Understanding of the raw material (citrus oil markets) and ability to execute on a risk management (long/short) strategy for key raw materials.
• Ability to identify industry trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing colleagues as an individual contributor.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
