Job Summary

The Sr. Citrix Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security and lifecycle management of the Enterprise Citrix and Microsoft Infrastructure Systems and related components including servers, applications, virtualization, storage, and backup solutions to support Emanate Health IT requirements. This role serves as the subject matter expert and Sr. Engineer with CVAD, VDI, WEM, App Layering, and NetScaler SDX technology. The ideal candidate has a Sr. Engineer background and experience in a Healthcare IT environment excelling in incident recognition and rapid issue resolution directly impacting clinical operations and patient care. The Sr. Citrix Systems Engineer works closely with Network and Systems Engineers, Application Analysts, Clinical Informatics, Desktop Support, Service Desk, and Operational staff supporting Emanate Health’s IT and business initiatives.

Job Requirements Minimum Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other relevant field, or equivalent experience preferred. Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirement:

Ten or more (10+) years of experience as a Citrix/Systems Engineer in a Healthcare environment preferred. Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows/Unix /Linux based environments. Proven working experience with virtualization (Citrix, VMware,) technologies. In-depth understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Objects and Containers. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, cyber-security best practices, and industry standard IT Policies. In-depth understanding of voice/data communication and routing protocols. Proven working experience with Cloud technologies, backups, replication, etc. Proficient in DNS/DHCP/IPAM, Citrix Virtualization Technologies, Scripting (PowerShell, Perl, Etc.). Operational Knowledge of WAN/LAN/WLAN Architecture, L2 & L3 Routing & Switching, Windows Group Policy Objects, Storage & Backup Platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Ivanti, Infoblox, Meditech Expanse, and Imprivata preferred. Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills.

Minimum License Requirement:

Relevant Technology and/or Certification (Citrix, Microsoft, VMWare), ITIL Certification, CCP-V and CCP-N preferred.
