Job description

Proof of the Pudding has spent the past four decades providing innovative menus, services, design expertise and event experiences to clients in Sports & Entertainment. We are partnered with the Phillies providing elevated food service in the Press/Media area and Executive Dining location.
We are currently seeking an experienced Server to join the Proof of the Pudding team at Citizens Bank Park. POP provides elevated dining services to the executive dining area. This position will provide a high-end experience similar to a restaurant format.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver elevated in-seat dining service with attention to detail
  • Guide guests through menu selections, including premium food and beverage options
  • Maintain impeccable service standards and guest interaction
  • Coordinate seamlessly with culinary and beverage teams
  • Create memorable guest experiences through thoughtful, proactive service

Performs other related duties as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in fine dining
  • Fine dining, upscale restaurant, or VIP hospitality experience
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service
  • Exceptional guest engagement skills
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-volume settings

Specialized Qualifications:
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Renowned time management and organization skills
  • Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client's needs
  • The ability to work alone and as a team
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly

Work Environment
The work environment for this position will mainly be food & beverage culinary operations located in EDR at Citizens Bank Park.
Uniform Requirements
Adherence to Company Uniform Requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook, uniform requirements outlined in your orientation guidelines.
Non-slip shoes are necessary.
Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of being in one place, moving through an event space, and traveling from venue to venue.
  • Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
  • Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs.

Position Salary & Benefits:
  • This is considered a part-time, hourly role.
  • The schedule for this position may range depending on business needs but will often consist of either a morning shift covering breakfast operations or a later shift covering dinner service.
