Position Location: Austin, TX 78729




Functional Description:

Position Requirements:


  • 3-5 years working experience with Java/J2EE.

  • Experience with MVC frameworks (Struts, Spring).

  • Strong knowledge in database programming and querying with JDBC and Hibernate.

  • Solid understanding of OO methodologies and design patterns.

  • Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL)

  • Experience with Web Application Server Apache/Tomcat.

  • Experience with Windows and Linux Operating Systems, and Shell scripting.

  • Ability to interface efficiently with business group

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small technical team

  • Creative problem solving skills



Preferred:



  • Experience in agile software development process and environment.

  • Banking or financial services experience (i.e. credit cards, debit cards) is a plus



Education and Typical Years Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3-5 years working experience with Java/J2EE programming.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Oracle SQL and PLSQL
