Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Citizen Swiss CNC Machinist for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $24-$30/hr DOE plus shift differential! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

The Citizen Swiss CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components that meet quality standards and production deadlines. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Set up and operate Citizen Swiss CNC machines, including loading programs, selecting tooling, and adjusting offsets.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate part production.
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programming, or material inconsistencies.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including tool changes, coolant checks, and machine cleaning.
  • Optimize cycle times and suggest process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records in applicable systems.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production challenges.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Schedule/Shift Details: Multiple Shifts Available!

  • A Shift: Mon-Thurs, 6:00AM to 4:30PM
  • B Shift: Mon-Thurs, 7:30 PM to 6:00AM
  • C Shift: Friday-Sun, 6:00AM to 6:00PM
  • D Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00PM to 6:00AM

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience operating Citizen or similar Swiss-style CNC machines in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of Swiss machining principles, tooling, and bar-fed operations.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and applying GD&T.
  • Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection processes.
  • Basic knowledge of CNC programming and ability to make program edits at the machine.
  • Familiarity with common materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and plastics.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and interpret technical data.
  • Comfortable using computers and manufacturing software systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Visual capability meeting applicable industry standards.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Capability to stand for the majority of the work shift (approximately 95%).
  • Regular movement involving reaching, bending, twisting, and grasping to handle tools, materials, and equipment.
