Job description

The CBNA and US Entities Management team manages the liquidity, capital, and balance sheet for U.S. Bank Chain Entities, U.S. and Consolidated Broker Dealer Entities, and Hold Co. Entities. They lead liquidity/capital optimization and serve as the principal point of contact into Treasury for funding needs and ensuring that balance sheet priorities are integrated into business decision-making processes. The team governs and maintains Treasury Legal Entity methodologies, models, and rules, and oversees the execution of governance frameworks, policies, and standards. A core part of their mandate includes identifying and managing Treasury-related cross risks across legal entities. In addition, the Cross-Affiliate Treasury Management team, which rolls up to the Hold Co. Treasurer, oversees the coordination of Legal Entity Capital Requests, backstop facilities, standby letters of credit (SBLCs), and guarantees and comfort letters, and owns the framework for optimizing liquidity resources across U.S., Non-U.S., Bank and non-Bank affiliates.
Citi is looking for a strategic professional to support the business management and governance activities of the CBNA and U.S. Entities Treasury Management team, which is comprised of 4 sub-teams: Business Execution and Governance, U.S. Bank Chain Entity Treasury, Holding Company Treasury, and Broker Dealer Treasury. This role will report directly to the Business Execution and Governance Lead. The individual will be responsible for supporting the Business Execution and Governance Lead across all strategic efforts across the teams, including those that span all of Treasury and beyond.
The Business Execution & Governance Lead Analyst will manage multiple priorities on a day-to-day basis and must be able to respond quickly on time-sensitive deliverables. This role will require an individual with Treasury knowledge, exceptional relationship management, organizational, communication and influencing skills at all levels, and a strong focus on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Governance: Support the Business Execution & Governance Lead on establishing, enhancing, and implementing governance routines for the team.
  • Chief of Staff and Project Management:
    • Support the Business Execution & Governance Lead in performing "Chief of Staff" responsibilities for the Citibank N.A. (CBNA) Treasurer, including maintaining and tracking progress against team and Treasury-wide priorities/goals, implementing process and control inventories, supporting organizational and staffing requests, tracking of training completions, and monitoring of expense/headcount reports
    • Support and/or Lead ad-hoc project requests on behalf of the broader CBNA and U.S. Entities Treasury Management team
    • Design, develop, and deliver presentation materials and/or speaker notes on behalf of the
    • CBNA Treasurer and the broader team for committees, regulators, Board, senior management, and any other ad-hoc requests
    • Build relationships across key partner organizations (including Balance Sheet Management, International Treasury, and CBNA) to help drive strategic agenda and ensure flow of information
    • Support the CBNA Treasurer on key deliverables and engagements, including preparation of materials, talking points and briefing material, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up requests are addressed for forums such as CBNA ALCO Broker Dealer ALCO, and regulatory engagement
    • Ensure the right routines and tracking mechanism are in place to follow through on key decisions and actions emerging from operating routines and discussions

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of Citi organization preferred
  • Data Analytic Skills preferred
