Responsibilities and tasks will include system engineering plan review and development, program and schedule management, systems engineering, operations analysis, system integration, export compliance, documentation and procedure review, technical brief development, and communication with external stakeholders.

Job Description
  • Provide Engineering Support Services (ESS) to the U.S. Navy Foreign Military Sales Directorate
  • Work both off-site in contractor spaces and on-site at the Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC;
  • Provide programmatic and technical support;
  • Provide oversight of System Security (SS) solution development, compliance with Technical Implementation Guide (TIG), and integration with FMS systems;
  • Provide support to risk management process;
  • Develop and review of Systems Engineering (SE) Plans and SE Management Plans (SEMP);
  • Draft and review point papers, general correspondence, and technical briefings.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in System Security with DoW major platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field from an accredited university
  • Familiarity with Combat System Architecture including combat systems design, production, operations, and support processes.
  • Experience in SSE and System Security including Critical Program Information (CPI) analysis, protection solution development, integration, testing, V&V, and complete System Security life cycle.
  • Familiarity with Security Cooperation Policy, specifically Foreign Military Sales.
  • Experience in technical communication with senior level stakeholders, risk management, trade-off analysis, and developing path forward to support FMS export.
  • Demonstrated ability supporting diverse programmatic and technical tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability operate independently.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to deliver presentations and tactfully defend program office positions amidst disagreement from external stakeholders;
Desired Experience
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP-ISSAP).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Experience in developing System Security System Engineering Plan (SEP), System Security Plans, technical artifacts, integrated fielding schedule.
  • Familiarity with export policy and interactions with PMR-51.
  • Familiarity with release policy and interactions with Navy International Program Office (NIPO).
  • Experience in supporting SSE activities as described in DoW Acquisition guidelines.
  • Experience with designing complex integrated hardware & software solutions including secure boot, crypto key handling, active sensing and system response.
