Job description

Role: Senior Infra Platform Architect
Location: Dallas, TX
Experience: 12+ years (Network & AV Infrastructure)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Platform Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-grade network and audiovisual (AV) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Cisco networking, AV technologies, load balancing, and collaboration platforms, along with strong architectural leadership and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Network Architecture & Design
  • Architect and design scalable, resilient enterprise network solutions using Cisco Routing & Switching.
  • Configure and optimize dynamic routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
  • Implement and manage Netscaler Load Balancers for high availability and efficient traffic distribution.
  • Perform network performance analysis, capacity planning, and optimization.

AV Infrastructure & Collaboration Systems
  • Lead the design and deployment of enterprise AV solutions using Crestron and Neat Panel devices.
  • Ensure seamless integration of AV systems with enterprise networking and collaboration platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver fully integrated AV and network implementations.

Unified Communications & Security
  • Administer and maintain Cisco Call Manager (including Publisher/Subscriber configurations).
  • Provide basic configuration, troubleshooting, and support for Palo Alto Firewalls (policies, rules, connectivity).

Documentation & Governance
  • Develop and maintain detailed architectural documents, design standards, diagrams, and best practices.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to leadership on infrastructure strategy and improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience in network and AV infrastructure architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in Cisco Routing & Switching.
  • Deep understanding of routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF.
  • Practical experience configuring and managing Netscaler Load Balancers.
  • Working knowledge of Crestron and Neat Panel AV devices.
  • Expertise in Cisco Call Manager administration (Publisher/Subscriber).
  • Basic understanding of Palo Alto Firewalls (rule base, configuration).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-resolution abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSA, etc., are a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise AV & network deployments.
  • Experience working in hybrid collaboration environments (Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc.).
  • Prior exposure to UCC modernization or digital workplace transformation initiatives.
