Job description

We're seeking a skilled NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations team and ensure the reliability and performance of our clients' critical network infrastructure. You'll be responsible for 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and proactive maintenance of enterprise networks spanning multiple locations and cloud environments.

In this role, you'll work with cutting-edge monitoring tools and technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal network performance and quickly resolve any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor network infrastructure 24/7 using SNMP, NetFlow, and other monitoring tools
  • Respond to and troubleshoot network incidents and alerts
  • Perform network device configuration and maintenance (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Create and maintain network documentation and runbooks
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors as needed
  • Conduct proactive network performance analysis and optimization
  • Coordinate with vendors for circuit issues and hardware replacements
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in NOC, network administration, or related role
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix)
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment
  • Knowledge of firewalls and security appliances (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
Preferred Qualifications
