Job description

Overview
Member of warehouse operations team for Aftermarket Parts. Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and aircraft parts in an aircraft manufacturing environment. Reports to Cirrus Warehouse Supervisor.
Responsibilities
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
  • Unpacks, examines, counts and labels incoming material
  • Records receipts and reports discrepancies
  • Transports goods and may utilize material handling equipment and vehicles
  • Performs receiving, put away, picking, packing and shipping of goods
  • Maintain general housekeeping as directed
  • Ability to cross-train in all aspects of warehouse operations
  • Consolidates parts in bins to keep parts organized and maximize storage space
  • Ensure proper product handling and storage to prevent abuse, misuse, damage, or deterioration
  • Obtain, prepare aircraft parts for shipment to the Aftermarket customer base
  • Maintain an inventory control and management system, including work order closing
  • Support all facility regulatory and safety codes
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and accessibility
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to perform in non-climate controlled environments

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of warehousing, inventory and/or logistics experience required
  • Ability to pass hazardous material certification training

  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to effectively manage stress
  • Ability to operate computers with the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office
