Job Description Summary: The Circus Program Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Circus Program Director and assists with the delivery of the department programs; Circus, Dance, and Gymnastics. This includes leading classes, communicating with families, and supporting registration. The Circus Program Coordinator is also responsible for aspects of assisting with “road shows” in which the Great Y Circus is representing the YMCA.

Required Qualifications:

· Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing, and maintains confidentiality and a productive working relationship with others

· Must be available up to 25 hours per week, including evening and weekends

· Demonstrates the YMCA’s Mission and Character Core Values in and out of job role

· Minimum 2-3 years Circus program or related experience

· Experience with Microsoft 365, experience Daxko or CRM a plus

Desired Skills:

· Familiar with circus equipment

· Comfortable working at heights

Essential Functions:

· Assists with written and oral communication to program participants

· Assists with running rosters and cross-checking participants for proper registration and payment

· Supports daily circus, gymnastics and dance program operations

· Assists with YMCA Sustaining Campaign and other fundraising events as needed

· Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and special events as called upon

· Responsible for knowing and implementing all emergency procedures as needed

· Ability to implement solutions to challenging situations by analytical reasoning or research

· Responds to telephone, email and in-person requests in a timely and informative manner

· Follows the YMCA personnel policies, practices, salary administration plan, emergency procedures and risk management procedures
